I am looking to move to the clearfield area, my girls are in soccer now ages are 8, 10 i would to put them on a team when we move I am also ast. coach .please let me know about this matter
Hello Tim, If you were to move, we would definitely have a place for your girls to play, as well as get you set up as an asst coach! Our seasons are just starting now for spring 2012 (games this coming week for U8) if your move will be very soon. Hi Tim! Fall 2012 registration dates are – Friday July 13th (5-8p); Sat. July 14th (9a-12p); and Sat. July 21st (9a-12p) all at Jim’s Sports Center. We do have a brief period of late registration that follows, on a first-come-first-serve basis. If you have any specific questions about registration, feel free to contact our registration coordinator! Her number is listed on our registration page! Hi,
I am writing because I feel the soccer fields should be nonsmoking. I’m tired of going to the games and smelling it and having it around my children. My one child was just diagnosed with asthma so I definitely do not want it any where near him and when he is playing soccer. Today I watched as a coach smoked while all the kids were gathered around him inbetween quarters. It was the other team so I did not say anything. I would appriciate it if there were atleast nonsmoking signs put up! Thank you!
Hi Melanie! Thank you for sharing your concern. The CSA fields (and indoor complex) are indeed a smoke-free zone. We actually do have new signs that are going up to remind our parents, players and coaches of the policy. In any case, I’d prefer an individual be notified immediately that the behavior will not be tolerated over letting it continue for another moment. If you run into a situation again, and do not feel comfortable approaching the individual or your own coach, or are unsure of who a board member at the complex might be, I invite you to call me at 814.553.2621. -M
