Juggler’s Club

Juggling the soccer ball is a very simple concept. How many touches can a player make without the ball touching the ground? This of course excludes the soccer ineligle parts of the body such as hands and arms. Juggling the soccer ball is one of the best ways for a young player to improve their ball skills on their own. Juggling develops eye-foot coordination and the proper touch on the ball.

To be in the Juggler’s Club, a player must juggle the ball a minimum of 10 times. This must be verified by a responsible adult and submitted to the Soccer Association by the players coach. The contact person for the Juggler’s Club is Bob Aleksivich. bobalex@atlanticbb.net.

There are 10 levels to continually challenge the player to achieve a higher number of consecutive juggles. The new score should be reported when a player has reached the next level. Kids, get out there and start juggling the soccer ball and soon your name will be on the web.

Coaches, try to set aside 5-10 mins. each practice to give your players a chance to practice juggling and show you how many they can do. Parents, encourage your kids to get out there and juggle.
