A Positive Word

Coaches,

There is much that I learned from Melissa Ramsey when she was here coaching our kids but the thing that stood out the most to me was the way she handled the kids. She was always positive with the kids never once using a "negative" such as "No", Not", "Never". If a child did not do what she had instructed, she would give them a positive word of encouragement for trying and then re-instruct. I have adopted this principle in coaching and found a need to expand my positive word vocabulary. This list has helped and maybe there are a few on here that will work for you.
