| 1. Games will consist of 4 - 12 minute quarters |
| 2. Switch sides the end of the second quarter. |
| 3. Only one assistant coach is allowed per team. Other parents should
be encouraged to help out with practices. |
| 4. Every child must play in a minimum of 50% of the game. This is in
the SAY rulebook. |
| 5. Color conflicts must be resolved by the home team. |
| 6. Once the game has been started, parents and coaches are not permitted
on the field without permission from the referee. |
| 7. If field markings are not visible, the coaches must line up assistance
for the referee. |
| 8. All spectators must sit on the opposite of the field from the teams |
| 9. All players are to be treated respectfully. No foul language is allowed. |
| 10. The referee has the final say. The referee has the right to dismiss
any player, coach or parent from the game. If failing to comply, the referee
may dismiss the game. |
| 11. Any conflicts with the referee must be reported to the coordinator. |
| 12. In case of no referee, both coaches must agree on a suitable replacement. |
| 13. Coaches are responsible for the parents of their team. Please talk
to them prior to the season regarding conduct. |
| 14. If you have a special needs child on your team, let the referee
and opposing coach know prior to the game. |
| 15. Offsides is implemented as part of the game for this age group. |
| 16. Slide tackling is not permitted. |
| 17. Any foul or intentional hand ball in the penalty box will result
in a penalty kick. All other fouls will result in a direct or indirect
kick at the discretion of the referee. |
| 18. Substitutions on the fly are allowed at the following times: any
stoppage; a goal kick; offensive throw-in. |
| 19. If a child is down due to injury, play shall be stopped immediately. |
| 20. All complaints are to be brought to the coordinators attention. |
| 21. You are encouraged to attend the Soccer Association meetings held
the 1st. Monday of every month. |
| 22. Make-up games are to be rescheduled by the home team coach with
agreement from the opposing coach. The home team coach must contact the
referee coordinator to reschedule. |
| 23. The winning coach is responsible for reporting the games results
to the Progress. See enclosed score sheet for contact information. |
